When someone has died or moved into care, the property and everything in it can feel like a great deal to face. I help families, executors and representatives work through it calmly, one stage at a time.
How I can help
Not a rushed house clearance
This is not about emptying a property as quickly as possible. It is about understanding what is there, respecting its meaning to the family and making sensible decisions together.
Depending on what is needed, support can include:
- Sorting and organising possessions
- Identifying items that may warrant professional valuation before disposal
- Helping research appropriate routes for specialist items
- Coordinating valuations where required
- Organising donations, recycling and licensed waste removal
- Cleaning and preparing the property
- Photographing and documenting items or areas where appropriate
- Coordinating appropriate trades or specialist contractors
- Helping prepare the property for sale, letting or handover
Nothing is removed or disposed of without the agreement of the person with authority to make that decision.

Not everything that looks unwanted is necessarily worthless.
I do not personally value antiques, vehicles, jewellery or specialist items. I can recognise when something may deserve further investigation and help you find an appropriate specialist before any decision is made.

I do not provide legal, probate or financial advice, and I am not a valuation expert. I am happy to work alongside solicitors, executors and other advisers already involved.
Where a property contains contamination or hazards outside my scope, appropriate specialist contractors can be recommended or coordinated as part of the wider work.
Every property is assessed first, and the scope and price are agreed in writing before work begins.
